In 2009, Steve Evison and Resources for Change Associate Chris Church were commissioned to work on the development of sustainability guidance for ACEVO members.

Acevo is the Association of Chief Executives of Voluntary Organisations, and they connect, develop and represent the third sector's leaders. They have over 2000 members and have been providing support and advice to their members for over 20 years.

Steve and Chris worked with their internal working group, chaired by Mike King from the Environment Council, and the guidance they produced will be distributed to chief executives across the third sector to encourage them to run more sustainable organisations.

Steve and Chris have done a number of pieces of work together over the years and are gaining a growing reputation in the field of stakeholder and community engagement in sustainability and community development, having worked at all levels of decision making from grassroots to policy, urban to rural.
